Using their in depth knowledge of SEO and related activities they will help to define how our clients SEO strategies can be delivered for maximum return. Focusing on innovation and good practice they will help to develop their teams, clients accounts and Ayima’s offering overall.

Key Responsibilities

  • A senior point of contact for client accounts
  • Organise external meetings, set agendas and lead large meetings

  • Plan and schedule individual SEO projects within the overall account

  • Leading content resource development projects

  • Assist in creating and delivering client pitches

  • Leading client reporting

  • Develop and present Content Strategies to client

  • Business Development - identifying opportunities for cross-selling channels

  • Business case development (costing, implications and forecasting)

  • Participate/Prepare Training and workshops

  • Speak at conferences (with supervision)

  • PR – ensuring integration with SEO campaigns

  • Negative SEO - Identify attacks and provide solutions

  • Testing - independent and proactive

  • Management Skills - ability to manage team in Associate SEO Director's absence

  • Can be relied on by the AD to organise and run medium to high level calls / meetings

  • Developing other SEOs - helping with general daily queries and assistance

  • Leads as an example to Consultant and Associates with day to day help

  • Has good knowledge of nearly all aspects of SEO and as such can be relied on within meetings / decks


  • Possess commercial awareness and be able to identify problems and reach resolutions

  • Ability to write a full technical audit & strategy

  • Advanced HTML for SEO – writing and reading

  • CSS, PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, Python & Linux basics

  • Advanced Excel skills – ability to manipulate large data sets

  • Ability to interpret & provide insight into server logs

  • Ability to understand and write basic Regex

  • Understanding of server side commands to include redirects

  • Understanding of dynamic content – query strings, client-side serving

  • Good knowledge popular CMS' and web frameworks and their strengths and weaknesses

  • International SEO – CCTLDs, markup, sitemaps and WMT implementation

  • Disavow and Reconsideration – reviewing and submissions

  • Content gap analysis – missing or weak content areas

  • SEO & Paid Media - an understanding in how both disciplines can work together to drive effective SEM strategies

  • Analytics – use and implementation

  • Attribution – understanding of popular models and tools

  • CRO – understanding of methods and tools

  • Understanding of all other online and offline channels (display, affiliates, social, print, TV, email) and their effects on SEO

  • Able to communicate long term industry and search predictions
